Although born in the Netherlands, Raymond has been in New Zealand since he was four. Raymond has always been a hard worker, and worked three jobs to buy himself a section before building his own house in Morrinsville after work and on weekends.
He did it all over again in Tauwhare, and managed this while also taking over his parents’ garage door business and welcoming his second child into the family in 2018.
Raymond has been in the garage door business for over 30 years and, with experience in engineering and building, he is our problem-solving top dog.
When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kirsten, and their two kids. He is always keen to get out on a boat for a fish.
Originally from South Africa, Kirsten qualified as a radiographer before working in the U.K. for a few years and then made her way down to NZ.
After working at Waikato Hospital for nearly 13 years, she will now be found helping Raymond out in the office. When she isn’t there she is with their two kids.
Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family, baking and decorating cakes, as well as fishing.
David has been working for Craftwork Garage Doors since 2018, so he has had plenty of experience installing and fixing up garage doors — a great team member to have around.
David is very friendly and easy to talk to, and we get many comments about his friendly manner from customers.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his partner and kids. He enjoys playing sports (especially rugby) and keeping fit.
Kyle has been working with us since 2019, and we have seen him grow in many ways. He has always asked lots of questions, which means he has learnt a lot and is a very capable team member.
Kyle has a passion for cars and fishing. He enjoys spending time with his partner and his dog.
Ian joined our team in early 2024 and has fitted in well, having had some previous experience in the trade as well as the desire to learn more.
He has proven himself a very reliable member of the team.
Ian’s passions lie in music. He is a dedicated father of two girls and he also loves his Dr Martens shoes.
